The North Little Rock Parks and Recreation Department has 34 neighborhood parks to enjoy, including the 1,600 acre Burns Park with golf courses (both ball and disc), playgrounds, tennis center, pickleball complex, ballfields, and trails. The department also oversees the Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum (AIMM) (home to two vessels representing the beginning and ending of WWII – The USS Hoga tugboat and the USS Razorback submarine). The Old Mill is a visitor favorite – this reconstruction of an old grist mill was featured in the opening credits of Gone With the Wind.
