Unsheltered Outreach Fair planned in North Little Rock
North Little Rock, Arkansas (Friday, August 16, 2024)……… The City of North Little Rock is sponsoring an Outreach Fair for the unsheltered community on Friday, October 11, 2024 from 10 am – 3 pm at Riverfront Park, 120 Riverfront Park Drive in North Little Rock. The purpose of the Outreach Fair is to share resources with our unsheltered community and improve the quality of life for citizens needing assistance. Numerous community organizations and sponsors have stepped up to contribute to the event. Free physical/mental health screenings, a mobile shower unit, hygiene items, shave and haircuts, assistance applying for an Arkansas identification card, and the mobile Arkansas Workforce Center will also be on site. Assistance will be available for alcohol and opioid addiction, securing Rock Region Metro Bus passes, signing up for health insurance, and a clothing bus.
