Great North Little Rock Cleanup

The Great North Little Rock Cleanup is a community-wide volunteer event focused on beautifying neighborhoods, parks, and public spaces across the city. Participants choose their own cleanup location and bring a team, while Keep North Little Rock Beautiful provides all necessary supplies. The cleanup takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 8:00 to 11:00 AM. All volunteers are invited to a celebration party afterward from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Patrick Henry Hays Center, 401 Pershing Blvd. Door prizes and lunch will be provided. Individuals and teams can sign up at knlrb.org or by calling 501‑350‑8775.
Does it cost anything to register a team?
No, registration is free!
What kinds of places can my team clean?
You can clean a neighborhood street, park or playground in North Little Rock. Please do not enter yards, driveways or private property without the owner’s permission. Contact neighborhood associations or the city to check on an area if necessary. Do not clean state highways. Please make sure the area you choose can be cleaned safely!
What do we need to bring to the cleanup?
Gloves, trash bags, trash grabbers, rakes, and safety vests are suggested. Keep North Little Rock Beautiful can provide some of these items for use on cleanup day. We will contact team leaders with information on getting supplies.
Where should my team meet before the cleanup?
Team leaders will decide on a convenient location for their teams to meet, preferably close to the area to be cleaned.
What if it rains on the day of the cleanup?
If it rains and your team decides not to clean on that day, please coordinate a rain date that will work for your team members. If the Great North Little Rock Cleanup celebration is cancelled due to weather, we will notify team captains.
I don’t have a team. Can I still volunteer?
Yes! If you would like to help clean up, we will find a team for you to join. We also have other volunteer opportunities, such as help with serving lunch at the celebration, help with team check-in, and celebration site clean-up. There are also some pre-cleanup day preparation opportunities, such as contacting teams with important information, distributing flyers, and distributing supplies.
