Arkansas Acton Children’s Business Fair – A Marketplace for Young Entrepreneurs
The Arkansas Acton Children’s Business Fair, a one-day event showcasing businesses run by young entrepreneurs ages 6-18, will take place on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Glenview Community Center (4800 E 19th Street, NLR, AR 72117) from 12-5 pm. This exciting marketplace offers kids the opportunity to display and sell their products in a real-world environment, gaining valuable business experience while earning money.
“We’re thrilled to bring the Acton Children’s Business Fair to Arkansas, continuing a legacy that started in Austin, Texas, in 2007,” said Tiara Howlett, Event Organizer. “This event is an incredible opportunity for young people to experience the rewards and challenges of entrepreneurship while fostering a sense of responsibility and independence. It’s an environment where kids learn by doing—and they love it!”
The event is sponsored by Zoe’s Lemonade Stand, Humble Living Outreach, Acton Academy, and Acton School of Business, with additional support from local donors and volunteers.
