The City of North Little Rock’s life and accidental death & dismemberment insurance provider is American United Life (AUL).
All full-time City of North Little Rock employees have a basic life insurance policy paid for by the City. The policy covers the employee for $25,000. If you are enrolled in the Family medical plan, the life insurance policy also covers spouses under age 70 for $10,000 and dependent children under age 25 for $7,500.
Employees may also purchase additional, voluntary life insurance and/or AD&D coverage from AUL. If employees sign up within 30 days of hire, insurability is guaranteed. Premiums are deducted from employees’ paychecks.
