Celebrate Your Birthday at the Animal Shelter!
Host a unique and memorable birthday party at NLR Animal Services. Parties include a private indoor room for up to 20 guests, access to an outdoor space for additional guests (pending weather conditions), a special goody bag for the birthday guest. An animal control officer can also be present to safely handle animals upon request.

When are parties available?
- Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
What do I need to bring?
- Decorations and party supplies
- Entertainment, food, and beverages
Is the shelter still open during my party?
- Yes, the shelter will remain open for adoptions while your event is taking place.
Do I need to meet with anyone before my party?
- Yes, the party organizer will meet with the Director of Animal Services in advance to review the party plan, safety around animals, and ways to support the shelter.
