NLR Mayor to Sign Police Contracts
North Little Rock, Arkansas (Tuesday, January 28, 2025)…Mayor Hartwick will sign a new, two-year contract this Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 1:30 pm for the North Little Rock Police Department Supervisors Association and the North Little Rock Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #5. The signing will occur in the Community Room at the North Little Rock Justice Center located at #1 Justice Center Drive in North Little Rock. Both contracts are negotiated every two years, and this signing renews the City’s unwavering commitment to public safety with a continued focus on recruiting and retention in the North Little Rock Police Department. Detective Michael Gibbons, President of the North Little Rock Fraternal Order of Police, and Captain Brian Dedrick, President of the North Little Rock Police Department Supervisors Association, together shared, “We are grateful for the long-standing support the Mayor, the North Little Rock City Council and the citizens of North Little Rock have shown our officers.
