North Little Rock, Arkansas (Monday, December 4, 2023)….. The City of North Little Rock will open the soccer complex in Burns Park to motor vehicular traffic via Championship and Tournament Drive only Tuesday morning, December 5. Soccer play will begin Tuesday night with practices. Entry and exit to the soccer complex vehicular traffic will be via Championship and Tournament Drive only. Arlene Laman Drive will still be closed due to the hazardous roads. Foot and bike traffic should be mindful of vehicular traffic and consider that drivers might be distracted viewing the area. The fencing that has been in place since the March 31 tornado restricting walkers and bikers from leaving the river trail will be removed which will allow entry to the roads and trails around soccer to be utilized.
