EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY-CRIMINAL COURT

March 1, 2021: All court dates and probation reporting have been resumed.  All Covid -19 precautions will be taken including spacing, screening and postponing. If you experience symptoms or have had direct contact with Covid-19 call the court to reschedule.

The Court will do as much as possible to maintain operation by phone and video when available.

This policy may be subject to change should the offices of the City of North Little Rock close.

As always, if any person is ill they should call the Court to get a new appearance date.

MISSION STATEMENT

JUDGE PAULA JUELS JONES AND JUDGE RANDY MORLEY ARE ELECTED PUBLIC SERVANTS

In terms of quality of service, both North Little Rock district courts, criminal and traffic, undertake innovative steps to make themselves understandable to the general public, to reach out to defendants who fear courts, and to vigorously enforce their judgments. They use interpersonal help and technological systems to guide nervous newcomers through the legal process.

Traffic Division – Unsupervised Probation Program

The Second Division District Court of North Little Rock has unsupervised probation programs for adults and juveniles. Most moving violation are eligible for these programs, if specific requirements are met. Certain non-moving violations may also be referred to the Court Clerks office to determine if the offense may be adjudicated prior to the plea and arraignment date. Certain offenses require a court appearance only. This court will suspend the driver’s license of any defendant who has failed to answer a traffic summons duly served upon him or her. For further information call the Court Clerk’s office during business hours.
