North Little Rock is one of the locations in the narrow swath of totality during the Total Eclipse on April 8, 2024. With our central location in Arkansas, easy access from major U.S. highways and less than 20 minutes from Clinton National Airport in Little Rock, North Little Rock will be one of the most convenient cities in the U.S. for experiencing the solar eclipse.
The City of North Little Rock has created an information booklet and web page for our residents and visitors. It includes information about the eclipse’s timing and phases, potential traffic issues, how to prepare yourself and/or your business, tips on how to view the eclipse, activities during the weekend, and more. Information for this was put together by our Emergency Services Department using resources from NASA, NLR Tourism, AR Department of Transportation, and the cities of Little Rock and North Little Rock.
