Nov. 13: Chick-fil-A Spirit Night — mention NLRMYC when ordering on the app (5–8 PM)
Jan. 15: Tacos 4 Life Fundraiser — mention NLRMYC when you order (5–9 PM)
Spring 2026: Community Garage Sale — details coming soon!

]]> Now that it’s over, the NLR Mayor’s Youth Council is thrilled to announce the “Think Before You Drink: SOBER VISION” event was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who participated and made it such an impactful experience for our high school students.

We had a fantastic turnout at the McCain Mall Parking Lot, where students wore “drunk goggles” and engaged in eye-opening activities, including driving golf carts and participating in field sobriety tests. Special thanks to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office for their invaluable contributions and helping make this day possible. We ended the afternoon with over 50 students pledging to end intoxicated driving! We hope everyone walked away with a better understanding of the realities of intoxicated driving.
