Public input sought about Broadway Street in Little Rock

The public is invited to listen, view meeting materials, and provide written comments on the feasibility study for Broadway St. (Highway 70) between Roosevelt Road (Highway 365) and Interstate 630. The website will be available for comments until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, October 3, 2021. Citizens will have an opportunity to ask questions and make comments during a “live” virtual presentation from Sunday, September 19, 2021, through Sunday, October 3, 2021.

Construction on Interstate 30 Requires Lane Closures

in Little Rock and North Little Rock

PULASKI COUNTY (9-17) – Continued work on Interstate 30 in Little Rock and North Little Rock will involve lane closures, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting; the following travel impacts will occur the week of September 20. In general, daytime lane closures will occur between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and overnight lane closures will occur between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Areas with double-lane closures will generally be limited to 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.


  • I-30 Frontage Road between 3rd and 10th Streets in Little Rock
  • 4th Street intersections with Rock Street and River Market Avenue in Little Rock


  • I-30/I-40 ramps or lanes within the north terminal in North Little Rock
  • I-30 between Roosevelt Road and the Arkansas River in Little Rock
  • I-30 Frontage Road between 7th and 10th Streets in Little Rock
  • I-630 eastbound ramp to I-30 eastbound (full closure) in Little Rock; detour signed


  • Riverfront Drive (full closure) between Olive and Pine Streets from Sept. 24 at 10 p.m. through Sept. 27 at 5 a.m. See detour map NR 308-A for more information.

Traffic will be controlled by construction barrels and signage. Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
