Taste of the Boulevard: An Elegant Evening Benefitting the White Oak Bayou

Date: October 8, 2026

Location: Venue 1O

Tickets: Buy Now

This unique event will feature curated tastings from local chefs, live entertainment, and a shared vision for transforming the White Oak Bayou into a vibrant, accessible destination for all.

At last year’s first TOTB event we raised over $35,000 toward building a handicap accessible kayak dock and launch, taking a major step toward ensuring inclusiveaccess to the bayou. However, to fully realize this project, additional funds are still needed to complete the dock purchase and to construct a connecting trail thatallows seamless access from the main walking path.

Your support is crucial. By sponsoring the event, donating, or contributing in-kind resources, you’ll help bring this vision to life-opening opportunities for recreation, education, and nature-based wellness right here in Maumelle.

For more information, please contact Kelly French, Executive Director of White Oak Bayou Wetlands Conservancy at 501-590-7739, or email kellyfrench@whiteoakbayou.com.

Millions of people worldwide will join earthquake safety drills at 10:15 a.m. local time. Here’s what to do in the drill, and in a real earthquake:
1. Drop down onto your hands and knees immediately before the shaking knocks you down.
2. Cover: Take cover under a sturdy desk or table to protect your head and neck from flying objects.
3. Hold On: Hold on to your shelter and be prepared to move with it until the shaking completely stops

Let’s stay safe and weather-ready all year long, North Little Rock!
