Christmas Toy and Clothing Drive

Please help the City spread joy and cheer to all this Holiday Season. We are working with the NLR Mayor’s Youth Council and the City’s Unsheltered Program to assist those in need.

Toys, gloves, socks, coats, and sweaters will be donated to NLR school children.

We are also collecting items for our Unsheltered: gloves, socks, underwear, coats, sweaters, feminine hygiene products, and light-weight tarps.

Used items may be donated.
Please ensure they are clean and in good condition.

Donations should be dropped off by
Monday December 18th at:
NLR City Services Building
700 W 29th St
(two bins in the lobby)

State Capitol Holiday Hours

Capitol Holiday Hours

Beginning Saturday, December 2nd, the State Capitol will be open for extended hours throughout the holiday season. The State Capitol will be open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. On weekends, the Capitol will be open from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. This will remain in effect until January 2nd, when regular operating hours will resume. The Capitol will be closed Thanksgiving Day (November 23rd) and Christmas Day (December 25th).

Sweater Drive

Donate new or gently worn sweaters, or other cold-weather clothing through November 30th at:
Argenta Public Library (420 Main Street in North Little Rock)
William F Laman Public Library (2801 Orange Street in North Little Rock)

Donations collected at North Little Rock Public Library System will be donated to The Van.
