The North Little Rock Animal Shelter is bringing furry, adorable adoptables to the south parking lot of McCain Mall on Saturday, June 13th, from noon to 4:00 PM!

You’ll find furry friends waiting to meet you, all spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and ready to go to their furever home that same day. When you adopt, you’re not just saving one life; you’re giving another animal a safe place to stay at the shelter.

Come make a pawsitive change with the North Little Rock Animal Shelter!

]]> A groundbreaking for the North Little Rock Animal Shelter’s renovation and expansion was held Wednesday morning. Following is a brief list of news mentions and photos from the event. The current shelter, built in 1961, is located at 1 Championship Drive in Burns Park. The addition/renovation project will add 900 square feet to the existing structure, provide two entrances, one for animal control and shelter and another entrance for animal adoptions. The animal adoption area will include a party room which can be rented as well as small rooms for prospective adoptees to visit with their potential new owner. The entire facility will see new flooring and fresh paint.
